Your Name, Age, Gender and Location:
Kristian, 35, Male, Sweden.

Tell us a little bit about yourself (non-WoW related Interests, Hobbies etc)
Janitor for the municipality of my city but currently laid off until Midsummer. Workout 3-4 times a week. Spend a lot of time with my GF when I'm not raiding or pushing keys etc. Very close to my family and friends. Social guy and very down to earth and never far from a smile. Very positive attitude towards life and always trying to do the best of the situation. A passionate MMO player who has been playing MMO's for over 22 years. Dark Age of Camelot for 5 years (1999-2004) then WoW from 2004 until now with some break here and there. Loyal with a big heart. No snowflake tho, I eat constructive criticism for breakfast.

Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
Playing 1/1/1/1/2/1 but would switch around a bit depending on boss and if it's a pure ST fight or AoE. Not a big fan of Felblade spec, really love Demon's Bite as Felblade is so RNG I'd rather "control" my DPS more than rely on RNG. But will always play what is best for the current encounter.

How do you prioritize your stats and why?
I stat weight my char with Raidbots to see what I'm lacking. But generally it's Haste/Vers/Crit/Mastery.

Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?
Youtube, simming, MMO-champion sub forums. The Fel Hammer Discord and also friends in high-end guilds.

Image I got my bars on Mouse Over. My cooldowns are reactive WA's. Been playing with my bindings for over 20 years so it's all muscle memory by now.

Raiding History:

Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
Numerous of guilds throughout my career. World 50 to Wrath and more casual (250-400 world) after that. From Legion until now I've raided on world 200-350ish level.

Coming into SL my computer was extremely outdated. We're talking 40 sec screen freezes at times and 15-20 FPS. So I had to aim for really casual minded guilds to even be able to raid. I did not wanna join a "good" guild (sub 500) as my computer was not good enough and it would be really noticeable. So I jumped around in some new started project that died out and then joined up with Sins which is my current guild. I am 8/10 and progressing Sire as we speak. Did not kill Sludge or Sire yet. Now that I got my new computer I feel like I wanna aim for a sub 500 again and start raiding with people who share the same passion for the game as me and are like minded. I now got a i7 10th gen, GTX 3080, 32 GB ram, 1 TB SSD.

Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:
Been through a lot of guild splits, bad leadership, toxic people, faction changing etc etc over the 17 years I've played this game. Also been taking breaks here and there. I'm no 1 tier wonder tho, I wanna settle in a good guild that has it all. A community based home where people play the game outside of raiding hours. Meta achievements, M+, boosts, PvP etc etc. As I'm a really passionate WoW player. Raided all tiers since Legion start and taken all CE's with the exception of CoS.

More Information:

Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?
Yes these are really good times for me as my GF has her daughter those days and I always aim to be on every raid possible.

We also raid on Sunday at the start of a new raiding tier. Are you aware of this?
Yeah I think this is a really good option for progress.

Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak?
Yea I'm vocal and fluent English speaking and I know when to stfu.

What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
Knowledge, experience, loyalty, a good sense of humor and a lot of positive energy!

How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?

How do you feel about progression raiding?
It's my biggest passion in life, literally. Give me a chance and I'll prove my worth. I'm a loyal raider and a progress hungry wolf!

Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
Browsing WP for a new guild and you guys popped up.

What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
I liked your presentation and felt like it would be worth a try. I think I would fit in well in your roster and can challenge the other DPS on a competitive level.

Do you play outside of raid?
Yes, I boost on a daylie in ICC community. Would love a M+ team as DH Dps has been a struggle. Mostly just got 1700 to be able to boost 15s in my boosting community.

Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
Just hope you give me a chance to show you what I'm made of and that I'm a loyal and friendly player.
