Your Name, Age, Gender and Location:
Nikita, 28, Male, Germany
I am not a native English speaker, so don't be to harsh :)

Tell us a little bit about yourself (non-WoW related Interests, Hobbies etc)
There is nothing else. Jokes aside, I'm working in the health industry as dietician, weightlifting coach and pErSoNaL tRaInEr, Covid slowed everything workwise down, but in the end also still keeps me busy. Pretty heavy into olympic weightlifting and powerlifting myself, but don't mind spending a few days binge reading The Expanse (Amazon hooked me in,tyvm).

Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:
Master Marksman: numerically the strongest damagewise in this row with Serpent Sting being a part of the kit with the current strongest legendary.
Careful Aim/Explosive Shot highly depending on the encounter interchangeable, heavy AoE focused fight, where a certain dps check at the pull is not requiered? -> Explosive Shot, in pure ST situations mostly CA
Natural Mending in most cases if no heavy out of combat movement is requiered otherwise Trailblazer can see its play(proud Seedplayer says hi)
Most diversity in the following row: 2 Targets? Chimaera Shot, otherwise Steady Focus to keep the rotation smooth with more focus, if the buff can't have a high uptime due to no target downtimes -> Streamline
Posthaste or Born To Be Wild -> Movementspeed is always useful unless you have to turn into a living Turtle, then Born To Be Wild can see some love
Double Tap, in a pure damage boosting row the strongest spell right now to choose.
Lock and Load/Volley: Pure ST and/or prio DPS: Lock and Load for the free Aimed Shot proccs if more targets are present Volley will have it's time to shine.

How do you prioritize your stats and why?
Mainly working with and the simming of different scenarios, but with the current emphasis on primary stats the goal was while gearing ilvl>crit=mastery>haste>versatility but not completly set in stone

Raiding History:

Describe your previous/current raiding experience:
Basically the last guild I raided with is the only raid experience I've gathered so far in WoW. Still fairly new, haven't played a full year and if Covid haven't entered chat 2020, I probably wouldn't be here. Have raided world first/realm first in another MMO clone of WoW called Runes of Magic years ago for my entire teens, but haven't touched any games for around 5 years prior to WoW last year.

Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:
new meta: Felt apart just a week ago, sadly enough because I actually enjoyed to revive the feeling to push for something "hard" and it was possible to finish for us.

More Information:

Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?

We also raid on Sunday at the start of a new raiding tier. Are you aware of this?

Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak?

What qualities do you bring to a Raid?
Calm, reasonable, wipe and almost always tilt proved

How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?
BM perfectly fine, Survival haven't touched so far, but heavily interested into if it will have it's time to shine, actually enjoy playing multiple classes/specs.

How do you feel about progression raiding?
I've done it in another game for years. I simply know what it is and how to participate well in a raid environment.

Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?
I've got a message from Nagassh over wowprogress, but I don't know anyone personally/closer.

What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
If I'm completly honest, after my previous guild "bombed" in the last week and me still heavily interested in trying to finish my first tier, I've got in less than 24 hours more than 50 people messaging me not even being able to handle it, but almost all of the guilds look to me as a person like one hit wonders (I have no idea what the perfect term in WoW for it is and it sounds more negative than I want it to be), but I would fairly prefer to be in a consistent guild, which doesn't break down, if things go South with similiar goals in mind.

Do you play outside of raid?
I've played M+ a lot, slowed down lately, but I'm also interested getting into PvP at some point, but WoW as a whole is still way too big to learn in such a short period of time.

Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?

Tell us a joke: Originally from Russia with stoicism in my veins, we not make jokes, we perform. Wouldn't play on a Russian realm tho

Application accepted. Feel free to get in touch with anyone in the guild once you're on the realm and they will direct you to an officer for an invite.
