Describe your choice of talents and why you've chosen them:

My current choice of talents should be (for general raiding single target)

Tier 1: Master Marksman. Im primarily taking this as the legendary im currently using give me serpent sting for free and this talent is currently the best.

Tier 2: Careful Aim for pure single target as the 50% aimed shot bonus is just too good for initial burst. Will spec Explosive shot for any big AOE fights such as Huntsman/Sunking/Generals

Tier 3: Natural Mending This talent reduces the cooldown on my heal. I can see Uses for TrailBlazer where I could be required to run off (artificer) and focus more on dealing with a mechanic quickly than dealing damage to the boss

Tier 4: Mostly I will play steady focus for single target but all three talents in this tier have their uses. The difference between stream line and steady Focus seem pretty minimal and mostly just depend on play style (I prefer Steady focus but will change it up) And Chimaera Shot has its moments in a couple cleave fights like Huntsman and even generals.

Tier 5: Posthaste/Born to be wild. I will mostly play PostHaste as its play style that i am used to. But as we don't really get rooted by much in this current tier Born to be wild and its reduced cooldown on Aspect of turtle + pack has its advantages for being able to use them more.

Tier 6: Double Tap This is a great talent that lets me shoot two Aimed shots at once every min. This timed with some cooldowns provides great burst damage also able to use this with Rapid fire which if combined will help generate additional focus or provide more burst AOE damage with trick shots.

Tier 7: Lock and Load This talent when it proc’s creates a free instant aimed shot, Its great for single target. More aimed shots the better. Volley can be taken for any fights with cleave/AOE as volley not only does some decent damage but for the duration will allow all aimed shots and Rapid fires to use trick shots which just means even more Cleave/AOE

How do you prioritize your stats and why?

MM hunter overall stat priority is currently

Haste : to about 7% - 10% once at this point or higher stats should be

AGI > Crit > Mastery > Versatility > Haste

With this in mind that makes my current Stat Focus Crit and Mastery as I have room to drop a fair bit of haste to try and get my crit back up over 30%.

Where do you acquire knowledge about your Class?

Mostly I will look up much better hunters than myself that are in Echo and the like. I follow many of them on streams and youtube where able. Warcraft Logs is a great source to see what other players are doing. I will also use Hunter discord, Raidbots and blood mallet.

Raiding History:

Describe your previous/current raiding experience:

I have not raided for quite a while to be honest. My last Raiding experience will have been when i first joined Curse of Years during Night Hold on my Shadow priest Yanipoo.

Previous to that I was in a guid called Afterlife on Dunemaul during Wrath of the lich king, When they disbanded I had joined Iron Edge on the same server.

Tell us about your previous guilds and your reasons for leaving them:

There isn't much really to tell about my previous guilds, as I've been in Curse of years for a long time now I started as a member during Night hold but I was unable to make the raid schedule due to work commitments as I had a bit of a rubbish job at the time. THANKFULLY for not being just booted after playing on and off during the last few expansions ive been able to enjoy playing as a social. But I want more again.

More Information:

Can you meet our raid schedule of Wed/Thur/Mon 21:00 to 00:00 server time with at least 90% attendance?

Absolutely yes. With an actual normal shift pattern and the new job I start in June perm working from home. I can 100% make the schedule/

We also raid on Sunday at the start of a new raiding tier. Are you aware of this?

Yeah sunday nights are fine as well.

Are you able to Listen and Speak on Teamspeak?

I can listen on teamspeak. And after getting shouted at from Nag for my mic being rubbish I can now speak on teamspeak!

What qualities do you bring to a Raid?

As a hunter I quite enjoy being able to do a little more than just DPS. I Like being able to focus a little more on some mechanics. Maybe i'm a little old school but Hunters have always filled that niche of being a little broken, can bring the slap as well as running around doing this and that.

How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?

Technically MM is my offspec. I have played Surv since Wrath (I know it was different)

I can and am willing to play any Hunter spec. I am only really playing MM currently cause its the better one. I anticipate that is going to change and im kinda hoping surv gets something big but I can and will play any hunter spec.

How do you feel about progression raiding?

I have enjoyed progression raiding. I enjoyed my own little progression through this current tier. Granted that was only HC But my first run through was fun. I am excited to try Mythic and hopefully be in a position to progress the next tier

Where did you hear about Curse of Years and do you know anyone in the guild?

Ryna was the first person to introduce me to Curse of Years a long while back.

What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?

I Enjoy playing with the guys I have had a chance to play with here. I learn a lot as there are a few really good players that have helped me in the past. I imagine I will still learn a lot more as I do have a little catching up to do

Do you play outside of raid?

Yes. Now that my hunter is pretty well geared I intend to start pushing Mythic + keys

Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?

I am applying on my hunter as this is currently my best class and my best geared toon. I am able and willing to re roll ready for the next tier if hunters somehow get nerfed dead OR if there is anything that I am comfortable playing which the guild is looking for.

Tell us a joke:

I'm not wearing any socks
