Foreword: Looking around the forum and your recent logs, I can see your acquisition of a new havoc DH trial (and best of luck to them). I've also seen and agreed with Nagash's comment on not wanting to cannibalize simultaneous trials. However, I personally wanted to still post an application as I felt a good connection to the stability and long term success of your guild. Therefore please review my application below as someone whom has mythic raided on/off since legion; someone who finds extreme joy in pushing for high performance in what they do; and someone who is feeling personally (and schedule-ly) ready to step up and push for a 3 day raiding guild.

I'm an R&D manger in a biomedical firm. My hobbies are playing guitar/bass and messing about with coding (which turned into a Msc in AI last year). I do a bit of traveling around as well, global pandemic permitting :)

What strengths do you feel your class currently brings to the raid?
More than the vehicle is the pilot themself; regardless of spec, I am passionate about optimizing every key stroke with every passing pull. Wanting to maximize what my vehicle can do to make the kill happen more securely. With that in mind I often gravitate towards specs that have high mobility for better repositioning during stack/spread mechanics with a focus on boss uptime, or that sweet moment where you have the Rasz pull AND the beam on you in P3, so you just dash to the side and save the pull :) ; specs with more utility to allow me to support the kill further, be it stuns/slows/immunes (hint: DH has them all). This tier, havoc's 40s burst window lines very well with the myriad of adds that every boss spawns and therefore, padding on the adds...I mean a quick target switch on prio adds (phew) becomes very efficient.
How comfortable are you playing your offspecs?
I am fully comfortable with VDH. Was the MT through HC and early Eggnog MM pulls on VDH.
I always strive to play my class, not the spec.

NH - 3/10 (on spellblade prog - BM Hunter)

I have mythic raided on/off since legion, however due to several study/job related relocations, I never culd stick around much. Generally doing ~half a tier before forcing to stop wow. My only CE is on Nzoth as stated above which I only progged Nzoth itself that tier. However since end of S3 SL I have picked the game at the level of seriousness I personally desired. With my work/study commitments over, I am diving int he game and enjoying myself more than ever. I can of course provide all the old logs from the above if needed but I would like my recent havoc performance to be the level I show as to what I strive for (when not bogged by life :D ).

What encouraged you to apply to Curse of Years?
I believe that I am a very good fit for a more serious 3 day guild. I very often find myself being too much for the 2-day CE-aiming guilds I have had the confidence to apply for so far. I have had application to similar guilds such as BadKarma or Reflection (top 500 guilds) be considered in SL, however at the time as a tank which a spot for is of course very rare (and thus my search continues, with a shift to DPS now).
Do you play much outside of raiding?
I am an avid key pusher, active through evening and always down for banter on discord. I have not been able to fully breach world first keys but I believe I am just 1 or 2 steps behind. My only current pre-made is a healer friend so often we're at mercy of pugging :)
Is there anything else you'd like to add to your application?
I have been trying to build a better report to show case my gameplay starting S3 of SL. Where I started fresh as a tank, getting every tank bar warrior to 3K rio and in S4 pushing higher with BDK. Come DF, starting at VDH, I wanted to resume my DPS role again and swapped back to the first available class, havoc. I am personally more at home playing rogue/havoc in melee and warlock/boomie if required to range.
